High Search Rankings
April 5, 2010 by Jason58 · 2 Comments
Before you start to make yourself reproaches that your web page doesn’t have high search rankings, you should look further into this matter, and see what goes wrong in your Internet business marketing approach. And the first issue to consider is the compatibility between search engine and website. Search engine optimization and complete indexation by search engines represent other processes that contribute to high search rankings.
During SEO, the web masters includes specific elements in the website code for improved visibility with the SE. Anyone who attempts to perform SEO, needs special training to handle the complexity of the tasks. What you can do is to include keywords in the website content, which is another level of search engine optimization. The keywords are those that you expect most visitors to type in when performing a query with a search engine.
When planning the budget for your online promotion, don’t cut on the SEO costs. Perform the tasks yourself, or hire cheaper SEO services. The important thing is to have the SEO part covered as well as possible. A more disappointing situation is when you can’t get high search rankings despite your hiring an expert to handle the job.
Constantly monitor the website performance to discover the weak spots, and make improvements. You depend on high search rankings to reach customers. The page rank is the element that determines the display of your website on the search result pages in SE. The highest chance to make profit belongs to the first 10 or 20 results; the rest, with not so high search rankings, will lose money instead of generating a revenue.
High search rankings thus become a promise not for wealth but for decent business revenue that allows you to keep running, enables progress and supports your vision. Just as it is important to track down mistakes and correct them, so it happens with positive achievements. Identify the strategies that ensure high search rankings and develop them further on. When any of them gets obsolete, make adjustments for an improvement of the situation.

Natural Web Traffic Versus Paid Traffic
December 12, 2009 by Jason58 · 7 Comments
If you own a website, you have a shared need with every other website owner. Your website needs traffic. Driving visitors to your site is considered the holy grail by many internet experts. Without visitors to your site (that’s what internet traffic is) your website will fail.
Okay, so everyone knows they need traffic. The real question is how to get it. Experts each promote their own techniques and philosophies on how to get traffic to your site. Some people feel that search engine traffic is best. They use special programs like SEO elite to optimize their site (look here for a full SEO Elite Review). Others feel that paid traffic is the best, like pay-per-click traffic from Adwords. (If you go that route, be sure to read the Adwords Help page).
Many of the techniques are fads. Some are black-hat. Others only produce traffic for certain industries. But in the end, most website traffic really comes down to two types: free (organic) traffic, or paid traffic.
There are internet experts who maintain that free traffic is a myth. They explain that all web traffic costs you something – whether time, effort or money. While that is true, we will still use the term “free traffic” to describe the term natural traffic. Natural traffic is any traffic you receive that you did not directly pay for. Natural traffic can have many different sources. It can come from the search engines. Free traffic can come from someone clicking on a link found in a different website. It can come from someone entering your website address directly into their browser. They may do this if they hear about your website from a coworker, in a newspaper article or on a radio computer talk show. All of these forms of traffic are natural traffic. These forms of traffic are free in the sense that you don’t pay a fee to get that traffic. Here is a page that offers more SEO help.
Paid traffic is exactly the opposite. It is internet traffic your website gets as a direct result of paying for it. This can be priced by the click from pay-per-click programs like Google Adwords or Yahoo Search Marketing. It can be from an ad shown on someone else’s website. It can be from from someone entering in your website url from a paid print ad in a newsletter. There are many other scenarios that you can pay to get traffic.
Which method is better? At first glance it may seem that the “free traffic” was better. There is no doubt that free is usually good. But free (natura) traffic takes time to establish. You see, after you first create a website, no one knows about it, so no one will put links on their site to yours. Major search engines don’t know about it either, so they don’t show your site in any of the search results. Even word of mouth (often called viral marketing) can take a while to gain momentum. When you buy an ad, you can usually start getting website traffic instantly. Even though paid traffic costs money, you can usually make a lot more money than you pay for ads. In that scenario, paid traffic is a lot better than waiting months for your site to become profitable.
The best strategy, however, is to use (both|both free and paid traffic techniques|paid and free traffic techniques|both natural and purchased traffic methods} in combination with each other. If you have a non-optimized site, carefully construct a pay-per-click ad campaign to get immediate traffic. Gauge this ppc traffic closely at first. Especially test which keywords and keyphrases are most profitable. Refine your ad campaign to include more profitable words and delete any keywords that aren’t priducing results. Then, start optimizing your landing pages for the profitable key phrases and seek out link partners using those profitable keywords and phrases as the link text to internal pages on your site. Within a few months, you will be getting lots of traffic from both the paid and free traffic sources.

You need to use a multi-pronged strategy in order to get more traffic to your website. There are some strategies that you can use to increase your web traffic using some straight-forward yet effective techniques.
The first technique is to simply pay for advertising for your website. This can be done using services like those provided by Google, Yahoo and MSN where you pay to have your website listed in their sponsored links section when a user searches for a key key phrase. This will get traffic to your website in a short space of time. It is important to refine each ad campaign to find out if you can maximize the return on investment.
The second technique is to write articles and content. Include content on your site that is appropriate to the products and services you are providing. Make sure you use web analytics to find out what search terms people are using and then write about those topics. If you have the time or expertise then you could write these articles yourself. Alternatively, you could hire a freelance writer to do this job for you. This is certainly one of the most effective techniques of getting more web traffic to your site. You should also make sure that you publish some articles to syndication sites that will allow other website owners to benefit from your experience and knowledge.
The third recommend technique is to submit your website to the top search engines. These include Google, Yahoo and MSN. This will get increased traffic by users searching for content that you have developed using the above methods.
The fourth technique is to partner with somebody else on the web that is selling similar complimentary products. Exchange links with these partners in order to increase your rankings on the search engines.
The fifth technique is to find forums that are relevant to your products or services and participate in the threads. Avoid overselling your products or services as you will most likely be banned. Rather, only answer the questions that people ask to make yourself the true expert in the field so that people will visit your website.
Another technique is to buy web traffic in bulk. There are various websites where you can buy web traffic in high volumes and at relatively low cost. This can be a very cost effective method of getting visitors to your site within a tight budget.
These techniques are low cost methods to get people to visit your website. While not the only techniques out there for driving traffic to your website these are some of the most effective techniques that will help to get your website noticed.

Are You Using Free Hosting Services?
January 18, 2009 by Jason58 · 4 Comments
Free web hosting is in many cases the most basic web hosting service that you can sign up with, and there are many free hosting providers available on the internet. The companies providing the free hosting accounts usually finance this by ads on the web sites that are hosted.
Another feature about free web hosting services – they are usually extremely limited. If you get a free hosting service, you are forced to have ads on the top and perhaps even on the bottom of your website, and depending on what your website is all about, it may not fit at all. However, if you are amongst those just starting out on the internet, a free hosting account may very well be the best option, since you probably don’t have a lot of traffic, or just a small site.
The type of domain that you receive when you sign up for a free web hosting account is usually a subdomain with the name that you pick (yourname.somefreewebhost.com) or a name in a directory (somefreewebhost.com/yourname). For example, if the name of your free host is the000webhost.com, then your web domain would be yourbusiness.the000webhost.com.
If you are a newbie, this is the type of account that you would probably want to get, but you should be aware of some of the shortcomings this sort of free web hosting account has, especially if you are looking for more advanced options:
Firstly, many free hosting accounts do not support databases. Databases are usually used for online data retrieval routines, or to manage dynamic content on your site, such as a wordpress blog. Many of these free web hosting sites do not even support the most widely used package called mySQL!
Secondly, the free webhosts may not support multiple email accounts; in fact they only give you one email account, which is usually a web based internet account (aka webmail).
However, recently some new companies has emerged, that will in fact give you a free hosting account without the recenly mentioned shortcomings; you get PHP, mySQL, email accounts and lots more! One of them is a free webhosting service found at the000webhost.com. They even allow you to host your own domain (a perfect reason to finally purchase a domain of your own), and you are not forced to display ads or anything like that. How’s that for an improvement!
The downside? – They will disable your account after 15 days without traffic, which could be a problem if you are just starting out. Some would call it a blessing, since it will force you to come up with new and fresh ways to generate web traffic to your site.
