Health insurance is so vital today

I heard a unique story recently. An associate of mine who is is really a staunch conservative was sitting with a bar conversing with some friends. The friends were complaining them to can’t afford health care insurance and strongly wanted a government option that will basically cost them nothing. Quite simply, socialized medicine. But my mate countered their complaint by pointing out they probably meet the expense of insurance, they just choose to never. Their lifestyle of fun and frolic was more vital for many years than practical things like insurance.

They’ve got no budget, spend time and effort in the bar and doing fun things moving out. They spend some money like water and don’t take into consideration the future. They feel slighted by the world for the reason that are always skating within the edge and want the costa rica government to step in and manage them while they continue to play irresponsibly. This sort of lifestyle and also this means of thinking means that anyone else who does have health insurance is actually paying for these people. Were covering the cost of their ER visits, their drugs, their doctor visits that never get money.

The lesson here’s to guage your priorities and set a financial budget. Look at what you’re spending cash on and ask yourself if it’s more than worth it to have no back-up. It’s time for them to trim the bad habits, mature and be described as a responsible individual in society. I do believe many people really can afford health care insurance, it is probably not the top coverage, but a minimum of it would be something. I understand that there is a large amount of changes that should be made, but we should start with ourselves and quit blaming others when a lot of the fault lies in our own choices.

So I did just get my trusty calculator (and by that I mean I pushed a button that brought it up on my screen; do people use actual calculators anymore?) and figure out what a 15% pay cut would look like for us, and OUCH. And you guys were ALREADY living minimally, from what I've read here. And now you have to… with less… and the… Oh man. I wish I had secrets for you. Like, financial, budget-ey, money-saving secrets. I don't. I am thoroughly unhelpful here. But I feel for you, if that's worth anything.

Um, don't eat on Tuesdays and Thursdays? That would save a chunk.

Thanks. And hey! I use a calculator! The computer one annoys me with the clicking and the mouse…ick. Actually, sometimes I wish I had one of those accountant-like adding machines with the whirring and the tape. How awesome would that be! (Am not 87, despite what it sounds like here.)
