Examining The Benefits of Electronic Massagers
March 5, 2010 by Jason58
Therapeutic massage is frequently extremely helpful to complaining about muscle tension and tightness, but regular massage therapy is quite pricey. Some of the same benefits are readily available to the consumer by taking advantage of handheld massagers. The quality on these machines has only gone up over the years, and you can now easily get a top notch massage therapy experience without ever leaving the house.
Muscle pain is one of the most common complaints that people see their doctors for. Most of the time there is nothing medically wrong. Aches and pains are just a part of life. But all that pain might significantly interfere with your day to day activities and make life less enjoyable.
Massage therapy is one of the easiest ways to help reduce your symptoms. It can reduce the pain and make it easier to move about normally. The majority of patients also report that it is extraordinarily relaxing and restorative. Of course, it should go without saying to be sure to talk to your doctor beforehand to get some assurance that your symptoms are not the result of any medical problems. But once you are told by your physician that there are no medical problems, a good rub down may be just the thing to solve your aches and pains.
However, professional massage therapy can cost an arm and a leg, especially in the current economy. If you are in need of regular intensive massage, you’ll probably really notice the expense. The good news is, lots of people have come to swear by the results that affordable home massage equipment can provide. What I’ve got in mind is this: Acuvibe Soft Touch Massager AV
Handheld massage therapy equipment range from small electric massagers you can operate by hand that simply vibrate in your hand, to costlier machines that massage specific body parts. For example, they make dedicated massagers that focus on the head and neck, massagers for your feet and calves, or back massage chairs. Despite the fact that certain people may not feel comfortable with the initial expense of the highest quality home massage machines, the money you save on trips to the massage therapist can make these machines more than pay for themselves. One example is here: Massagenius
The ideal way that you can tell whether one particular massager will do what you need is to try it in person. Many showrooms offer display models that you can test out on yourself to find out whether the particular massager will do what you need it to do. As an alternative, you will have to rely on internet reviewers to see whether people with pain that is similar to your are responding well to the device, and use that information to decide to what extent a given massager will be a good fit for you.

wow!
this is definetly over my head steve!
but as soon as you said boundaries and massage therapy
that episode of seinfeld popped into my head
where george went to get that massage and he got it done by the male instead of the female, and the male told george to take off his belt and slide his pants down a bit. it was histarical
lol sorry just had to tell you that!
you havent been on latley, missed you!
hmm the only thing hard about this is, boundaries is kind of general. the boundaries i can think of are ones like dont say or suggest anything sexual. please dont ask how i know this lol but sometimes when a man gets a massage it causes blood vessels to dilate which causes a man to get a hardon. so i think the therapist should know how to handle these situations and know the boundaries on not to say anything or suggest anything sexual.
also maybe like dont touch any areas where the client says not to or didnt give consent or whatever
boundaries could mean anything from the actual massage, to the conversation with the client, to the cancelation and setting up appointsment, to harrasment etc. i think this question is really open minded, so you could definetly get atleast 3 good points in and have a good essay.
i dont know what to tell you im not brilliant, but thought id try to help since youve always helped me out with questions
good luck!

edit — okay, sorry but im brainstorming and thought of another one. what about having friends who are clients? or becoming friends with clients? maybe even relationship with a client? there's gotta be boundaries there. or atleast i think so?
